SCGA Youth on Course

SCGA Youth on Course, the charitable arm of the SCGA, is looking for volunteers to assist with administrative tasks such as mailings, organization, filing, and data entry and tracking. Volunteer hours and times are flexible and we will work with your schedule. There is not a minimum time commitment.

As you may know, Youth on Course works diligently to use the community’s donations directly toward program initiatives such as Youth on Course, Grant Giving, Scholarships, educational golf materials, and G.A.M.E Days. Currently the organization allocates 85% of all donations to programming and with your help we can continue to keep administrative costs down.

Course Raters

The Course Rating team aids the SCGA with measuring and rating more than 400 SCGA member courses using the USGA Course Rating System. Contact courserating@scga.org for more information.

Club Delegates

Club Delegates serve as a liaison between the SCGA and its member clubs. Delegates are regularly updated on all SCGA activities to ensure member clubs receive the full benefits of their membership. The Delegate is asked to keep club members and officers up-to-date on any important information and serves an important role providing a line of communication between the SCGA and its members. For more information on how your golf club can participate in the SCGA Club Delegate program, please contact clubservices@scga.org

The SCGA is governed by a volunteer-based board of directors. The directors represent all facets of the association’s membership including private, public and affiliate clubs which hail from the various regions the association services. The board works with the staff at the SCGA to guide the association in promoting and protecting the spirit of the game by offering a wide array of member services.
