Through Kyle’s Eyes

June 12, 2013

SCGA members fell in love with Kyle Lograsso in January of 2011, when the then-8-year-old cancer survivor was featured in a FORE Magazine article. Lograsso, who survived a rare cancer that left him with just one eye, has been through more at the age of 10 than most people will go through in a lifetime, but it hasn't stopped him from getting on the golf course and making it a priority to give back. He and his family (mom, dad and two sisters) started a Foundation, that they hope will find a cure for the cancer Lograsso suffered, a cancer called bilateral retinoblastoma that afflicts 250 to 300 children in the U.S. each year. The Foundation, rightfully named Through Kyle's Eyes, is set to host a 100 Hole Challenge later this month at Legends GC in Temecula.

During the Challenge, Lograsso will play 100 holes of golf in one day, and the Foundation is asking golfers to accept the 10-year-old's challenge and play with him. To enter the tournament, Lograsso and his family are asking for participans to raise a minumum of $1,500, play as many of the 100 holes as possible and share the event with their family and friends.
