The island of Maui remains in desperate need of help in the wake of the recent, unprecedented wildfires and we invite you to join us in making a financial contribution to the critical, ongoing relief efforts.

The SCGA has identified two charities we hope you’ll consider donating to.

The Aloha Fore Maui fund supports Maui-based golf industry professionals and their families who have been impacted by the fires. You can learn more and donate here.

The Maui Strong fund provides broader financial relief to all those affected by the fires as quickly and effectively as possible. You can learn more and donate here.

Hawaii holds a very special place in the hearts and minds of so many Southern Californians. We are their nearest neighbor and some of the most frequent visitors to the islands. As golfers, we plan some of our most memorable trips to Hawaii and it remains one of the most requested travel topics for our FORE Magazine readers. Without question, there is an undeniable connection of community between Southern California and Hawaii. Hawaii has given a lot to us and now it’s our turn to give back.

Now more than ever, the SCGA is committed to utilizing our expansive reach to serve as Community Impactors to help those impacted by the wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui. We encourage SCGA members to join us and take action, either individually or at the club level.

We encourage you to join the SCGA by donating to these causes. Members can make a one-time individual contribution or collaborate with their clubs to raise dollars however they see fit.
