Meet Garrett Evert

Coordinator, Championships & Golf Operations

During his time with the AJGA, Garrett gained valuable experience administering top-level junior golf competitions throughout the country. Garrett is well versed in golf course set-up, administering local rules and managing numerous volunteer assignments. Prior to his time at the AJGA, Garrett worked for the Great Lakes Loons, the Los Angeles Dodgers Single-A affiliate, in their ticket sales and promotions department. Originally from Eagle, Mich., Garrett earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University.

Garrett oversees the day-to-day administration of Team Play, Women’s Team Play, Scratch League and SCGA Twilight Leagues, including providing support for team captains, club officials and participants. In addition, he runs the majority of the SCGA’s popular One-Day Series events in 2020. Garrett also assists the department by conducting numerous qualifiers, championships and events throughout Southern California.

At 13 years old, I was milking cows as a dairy farmer.
