Rest assured, although eClubs are transitioning to Associate Memberships, you still receive everything you loved about eClubs - a USGA/GHIN handicap and a flexible and affordable SCGA membership.

Each participating club determines the level of club benefits that are offered. These clubs will be encouraged to expose an associate member to some level of club functions.
You will contact the handicap chair of the club you join to make any scoring corrections. When you receive your confirmation notification that you have become of member of the SCGA and its corresponding club in your area, an email address for your club contact will be listed. The SCGA can also assist you in finding the right individual to contact in connection to score adjustments.
To obtain an SCGA Associate Membership, you must join from the list of participating Associate Membership clubs. However, you are always welcome to join any SCGA member club, subject to its policies. Many SCGA member clubs offer both online signup and competitive membership pricing. You can search for clubs that may have benefits that appeal specifically to you here: scga.org/clubs. As a reminder, your membership in any SCGA member club includes all SCGA member benefits.
This is determined by the clubs that are participating in the program; your zip code will aim you to the nearest club in your area, but you can choose from any of the participating clubs in a drop-down list while going through the sign-up process.
As mentioned above, you can select to join any participating Associate Member Club at checkout. If you change your mind after completing your purchase, you have 3 business days to contact the SCGA and request a change in club designation.
Yes! The only change to your handicap is that your Handicap Chairman will change from an SCGA staffer to the chairman of the club you select.
By becoming an associate member of the club, you can be as engaged or disengaged as you please. You are encouraged to attempt to periodically play golf with other members of the club to help in the handicap peer review process, but no politics are required.
Yes! A member of a club through the Associate Member Network receives all SCGA member benefits, including the ability to participate in SCGA events.
