2018 Event Recap

This year’s Senior Four-Ball Championship crowned a familiar duo in Jeff Burda and Jim Knoll - their second title in the event.

The 2015 champions bounced back from a lackluster opening round 2-over 74 which only yielded a single birdie. Finding themselves in the middle of the pack beginning Day Two, the veteran duo turned up the jets to the tune of a final round 6-under 66 to edge the teams of Don DuBois/John Pate and Iain MacDonald/Robert Valerio.

The championship-low round of 66 included a front-nine 4-under 32 which featured five birdies, including three straight to open their round. Firing on all cylinders, the SCGA stalwarts sealed the deal with a back-nine 1-under 35.
