SCGA Club Portal

Does your club utilize the SCGA Club Portal? Your club can opt in to allow your members to make a gift to the SCGA Junior Golf Foundation when they renew their membership annually. Email Jennifer to sign your club up for portal giving.


Host a fundraiser with your club with the proceeds supporting our programming. The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation will arrange for a guest speaker to attend and share how your donation makes a difference. Email Jen to learn more.

Celebrating competition, camaraderie, and charity, this two-day fundraising event in Pebble Beach supports the scholarship program. Email us to learn more.

Annual Tournament

The Foundation’s Annual Tournament is its most prestigious event of the year. A round of golf at one of Southern California’s premier clubs is followed by a sit-down dinner, live auction and fireside chat with a notable guest. Foundation Cup

In this tournament, your group will be paired with a low-index junior or scholar who participates in the Foundation’s programming. See first-hand the impact that your dollars have on young golfers. This year’s event will be July 26th at Yorba Linda CC. Learn more/register at

Golf Club

Our club membership is open to juniors ages 5-18 and provides access to $1-$5 green and range fees at more than 150 SoCal facilities and an SCGA GHIN number to keep track of your handicap index. Sign up here.

Player and Youth Development

Juniors develop golf and life skills through our 8-week instruction program led by certified instructors. Current sites are located in Southeast LA, the San Fernando Valley and Riverside. Learn More.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf

Our monthly chapter activities include both golf skill development and social or educational activities hosted by our female instructors in a safe, comfortable environment for golfers of all ages and ability levels. Learn More.

The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation was founded in 1983 through a gift from the PGA Championship, which was played at Riviera Country Club. It is the charitable arm of the Southern California Golf Association, which is one of the nation’s oldest and largest amateur golf associations. The SCGA underwrites all administrative and development expenses, allowing every dollar raised to go directly to our youth serving programs. 

The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with tax id 95-3858373.
