Caseys’ Tournament Players’ Club (CTPC) is an SCGA affiliate club based primarily in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County. As an affiliate club, we have no home course. We are administered from Casey’s Tavern in Canoga Park.
Our tournaments are usually played on either a Saturday or a Sunday and have a field of about 32 players. The courses are typically located within a 30-60 minute drive from Canoga Park. Simi Hills, Sterling Hills, Rustic Canyon, Sunset Hills, Santa Anita, Harding Park, Brookside, Soule Park, and Los Robles are examples of those courses we typically schedule. Our tournaments have flighted stroke-play competitions with prizes for gross and net winners. We also have both gross and net club championship competitions. The annual CTPC club champions are eligible to play in SCGA’s Tournament of Club Champions in December.
CTPC’s membership currently stands at about 70. All are welcome to CTPC no matter your golf skill level, sex or age.

History of the Chiefs
Darin joined the Chiefs Hockey team in 1994, thanks to his good friend Carl Diamond inviting him onto the team as a defenseman. Carl is a goalie, so he like to pick his defense carefully. Scott, Serg, Wolfe and a few others also have been on the Chiefs Hockey Team, and they are golfers. In 2006, with several of the regular golfing bunch wanting to get SCGA indexes, the Chiefs Golf Club was born. A few other names were considered, but we settled on the Chiefs since it continues the connection to the hockey team and it’s a pretty cool name (we hope you agree). Annual dues are $45.

Started in 1990, we play monthly tournaments, always on Sunday, usually tee off between 900 – 1000.
We play all over southern California and usually try to have the schedule done a year ahead.
We are coed and encourage women to come out and join us.
We have several side pots, low net (flighted), skins (both net and gross), greenies, low putts, and birdies (any birdie wins). We have a year end tournament which is open to all members; usually played in Nov and Dec.
Dues: Deposit (refundable when you leave the club) $75
Annual: $50 which includes the SCGA fee.
Here’s something unique about our club that I’m sure no other club can say…. Lots of our members also bowl and almost (if not all) of them have bowled a 300. Interesting fact #2 (and this one is better): we have a few lotto winners.

Any male over 18 years of age may join the Men's Club. By joining the Men's Club, you are eligible to play in the monthly tournaments. The monthly home tournament is held at Mountain Meadows on the first Sunday of the month (except when it's a holiday weekend). The monthly away tournament is typically held the third Sunday of the month (except when it's a holiday weekend). Each member will receive a SCGA Membership and handicap card. Each member pays regular walking or riding rate for home tournaments. Players may choose to walk or ride. Speedgolf SoCal brings together golfers who want to add more rounds of golf as well as more fitness into their lives. Participants should have a reasonable grasp on the game of golf, but high-handicappers are welcome, as are all fitness levels. We tee off at first light, typically once or twice a week between April and November of each year, rotating between a few select courses who have proven to be supporters of our group. Speedgolfers carry 4-6 clubs in a small bag (or by hand) and jog from shot to shot. All other rules of golf remain the same. You can get 18 holes of golf and a great workout in before work. In addition to the annual SCGA membership fee of $36, there is an additional $50 golf membership to be paid to the club chairman and we will contact you if you want to join – more information about club membership and perks is available on our website. Description
The Wilmington Golf Club started as a club for employees of the Valero Wilmington Fuels and Asphalt. The club has since grown and is now open to any fellow golfer who wishes to be part of the comradery to enjoy the sport of golf. The club holds monthly tournaments around the Los Angeles and Orange County area from February thru October. The club also has an after work golf league that runs typically during the months of daylight savings time. Membership includes discounts on the monthly tournaments, access to a whole in one fund to celebrate if a member scores a hole in one on any tournament or league play round, as well as the standard SCGA benefits including a USGA handicap.
