Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) junior curriculum
Focuses on developing athletes first, creating competitive golfers second and producing a love for the game of golf along the way. TPI golf and fitness skills assessment tests are designed to track juniors’ progress over time. Golf and Fitness skills assessment tests are free to attend, but you must RSVP to Coach Justin (firstname.lastname@example.org) before attending. Juniors can come to testing days at either Pico Rivera GC or Norwalk GC (not contingent on where juniors attend instruction). To learn more about the assessment tests, click here.
Becoming an Effective Decision Maker Curriculum
Created by Up2Us, the nationwide leader in the sports-based youth development movement, the curriculum was designed to help juniors become better decision makers on and off the golf course. The curriculum encourages juniors to remember the acronym G.O.L.F.E.R, which will help them in this process.
G: Grip it – define the decision
O: Observe and collect information
L: Link in the right people
F:Finalize the decision
E: Educate those involved
R: Ready golf – time to act
