We're excited to have the following junior golfers playing in this year's Member Junior Shootout at Monarch Beach:


Angel Yin, Sophomore, Arcadia HS
+5.6 Handicap Index
  • Qualified for the Kraft Nabisco Championship as a 14 year old in 2013 and made the cut (made the cut again in 2014)
  • Played in the U.S. Women’s Open when she qualified as a 13 year old in 2012
Michael Padilla, Junior, Kennedy HS
2.0 Handicap Index
  • Two-time Youth on Course Club Tournament Champion
  • Actively volunteers for Youth on Course events
Patricia Wong, Senior, Walnut HS
+3.3 Handicap Index
  • Competed in the 2013 U.S. Girls' Junior and U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championships
  • Three-time Hacienda All-League Team
Matthew Carungay, Sophomore, La Mirada HS
+1.4 Handicap Index
  • Selected by Youth on Course to participate in a clinic led by Butch Harmon
  • Competes on the SCPGA Junior Tour
Julia Sander, Freshman, UC Riverside

  • Named First Team All-League her senior year
  • Three victories on the North Country Junior Golf Tour in 2013

  • Made the cut at both the 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur and U.S. Girls’ Junior Championships
  • Competed in the 2013 and 2014 KNC Junior Challenge
Max Hagar, Junior, Palisades HS

  • Helped his High School team win the CIF Championship in 2013
  • This is his second year playing in the Member Junior Shootout
Jocelyn Chia, Freshman, Boston College

  • Played in the 2013 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship
  • Four-time All-Area Girls' Golfer of the Year, named by her local paper
Natalie Mattison, Freshman, UC Riverside

  • Helped form the first girl's golf team at her High School and was named scholar athlete of the year
  • Will play golf for UC Riverside this fall
Raquel Gordon, Sophomore, University of Redlands

  • Competes on the women's golf team
  • Recorded one of the top-five single round scores in Redlands program history
Kari Gordon, Sophomore, University of Redlands
