  • 2002 SCGA Senior Amateur champion. Birdied last three holes at The Rancho Course at The Alisal to overtake Lee Davis and win by two shots. Became fourth golfer in 25-year-history of the event to win consecutive titles
  • 2001 SCGA Senior Amateur champion. Shot 67-70 -- 137 at Victoria Club and defeated Kemp Richardson and Mike Riley by three shots.
  • Five-time (1998-2002) Colorado GA Senior Amateur stroke play champion.
  • 2001-2002 Colorado GA Senior Amateur match play champion.

    Other Golf Achievements:

  • 2002 SCGA Seaver Cup team member.
  • Ranked second in Arizona GA senior standings
  • 2000 Arizona State Amateur, 3rd.
  • 1975 Colorado GA Amateur champion.

    Notes:

  • Belongs to Broadmoor Golf Club in Colorado.
  • Besides Olive, back-to-back SCGA Senior Amateur winners were Ed Rieu, 1993-94; Bud Bradley, 1991-92 and Ted Richards, Jr., 1980-81. No one has one three straight, although Richards also won titles in 1978 and 1984.
