As one of the best public courses in Southern California, The SCGA Golf Course in Murrieta, owned by the Southern California Golf Association, prides itself in providing championship golf for not just the SCGA, but PGA as well; in addition to high school and college championships, the course is host to the first stage of PGA Tour Q-School.
The 7,036-yard layout, designed by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., features many traits that Jones is known best for: large undulating greens, beautifully sculpted bunkers and gracefully flowing fairways. The course also has one of the only grass practice ranges in the area, recently doubled in size.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Palm Desert's Desert Willow Golf Resort has been host to the SCGA Desert Team Play Championship eight times in the 30 years of the championship.
The Firecliff Course, measuring 7,056 yards, is a true test of skill where golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, numerous water features, and more than 100 bunkers/waste areas. The Mountain View Course, at 6,913 yards, was designed to be a transition between the more challenging and tournament quality Firecliff course of fence to fence turfgrass, flowers and flowing water. Mountain View was intended to have each of these characteristics, but with it’s own distinct personality. Courses were designed by Michael Hurdzan and John Cook.
