Did you know that the SCGA Member Outing program can be the perfect host for an affiliate club event? Leave the organizing to us, and encourage your club to take the opportunity to play together at a range of private and public courses.
The Mountain View Men's Club of Santa Paula, CA recently brought 26 of its 80 members to the Member Outing at Malibu CC. Doug Whitney, handicap and memberchip chair of Mountain View Men's Club, brought the event to the attention of his club members, who try to get together and play different courses as a group every other month.
"I thought [the Member Outing] would be an excellent opportunity to play a course we haven't played before as a group," said Whitney. "The outing itself was well organized and everyone enjoyed the BBQ. The weather and scenery at Malibu CC was beautiful."

"Since as a club we frequently try to play other courses, it worked out well," said Whitney. "Always a nice day when you can spend it golfing with your friends. We are currently considering doing a two-day Member Outing event in the Santa Barbara area in October."
