Why is the SCGA offering a tee time reservation system?
We’ve heard from a number of our clubs who were struggling with the costs and parameters of current tee time reservation systems, and hope this new tool addresses those concerns. It’s also an opportunity for member clubs to promote their facility to a wider audience and for individual members to take advantage of exclusive deals!
How does this benefit the SCGA member?
The addition of a tee time reservation system has helped turn SCGA.org into a one-stop shop for all Southern California golf needs. Along with being able to post scores, look up courses and check Handicap Indexes, golfers are also able to schedule their next tee time. This system is open to any golfer, but extends additional cost-savings to SCGA members.
What is the cost to participate in the SCGA’s new online tee time reservation service?
Golfers will be charged a booking fee of $1.49 per transaction. All fees collected are poured back into software developmental costs to keep the program alive!
How do I know my information is secure and not being shared?
All customer information is stored on an external server and is not shared with individual courses until an actual reservation is completed. Once a tee time is booked, relevant information like the golfer’s name and email address is sent directly into the course’s tee sheet.
What about other programs, like rewards and ZINGTIMES?
These programs are 100 percent optional to all SCGA members, but extend additional loyalty deals and benefits.
