Bogan rejoined the Southland's elite scratch golfers when he won
the SCGA Senior Amateur at Wilshire CC. He later joined the
SCGA's victorious Seaver Cup team at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa for
a payback win over the NCGA. |

Steve Bogan says he lost his golf swing for a while.
Evidence that he's regained it was quite clear as he won the
SCGA Senior Amateur at Wilshire CC with the only subpar score.

Bel-Air hosted the nation's finest senior amateurs and
Corey Weworski became the third Southland golfer to capture a
USGA championship in 2004, when she claimed the Women's

Riley and Steve Murphree, put together a pair superb rounds to
win the SCGA Four-ball Net at Landmark at Hemet. More.

This Way
Scott McGihon led the SCGA's Seaver Cup team to a victory,
regaining an edge over their northern counterparts. The fourth
biennial competition resulted in the series' largest margin of
victory and came in the wake of the death of the tournament's
namesake, Charlie Seaver. More.
