  • F.A.Q: Posting of Scores

This section covers questions regarding score posting and index calculation.

    6. How do I post a score when not in Southern California? - Top

The SCGA belongs to the International Golf Network (IGN). There are currently 48 associations that are members of the IGN. This will allow you to post your scores when out of Southern California. When you play out of the area check to see if they are a member of the IGN. If they are you will select that option to post your score. It will then ask which association you are a member of, you will select the SCGA. Then you will need to enter the normal score information, date, score, slope, and course rating. The score will then be transmitted back to your SCGA file. If the area that you are playing in is not a member of the IGN then you will need to bring your scorecard back to your Handicap Chairman or post it on the Internet if your club allows the membership to do so. - Updated: August 10, 2005
