  • F.A.Q: Posting of Scores

This section covers questions regarding score posting and index calculation.

    4. Where and when do I post my score? - Top

After completion of play, post your score at the computer in the golf shop. If the club does not have a computer, there should be posting sheets available for you to post your score. The club then mails the posting sheets to the SCGA and those scores will be posted by the SCGA. If you travel out of the Southern California area, most regions are members of the IGN (International Golf Network). The IGN provides members the opportunity to post their score and allow the score to be sent back to their home association. To find out if the IGN is available at the course you are playing, look for the IGN logo on the posting computer in the golf shop. If the IGN option is available, select the IGN logo, and select Southern California. Enter your SCGA member number and follow the prompts to post your score. If the IGN is not available in the area you are visiting, you will need to bring your scorecard home and ask your club's Handicap Chairman to post the score for you. - Updated: August 10, 2005
