    This section covers several general handicap related questions.

    1. What is the formula for calculating a players index ?
    2. How long does a penalty round remain in a player's scoring file?

It appears that the LI is a pretty important number being a special calculation requiring a full file of 20 scores and the fact that it appears in the Index Report and is verified on our membership cards. A number of such significance must be used for something special. What is the LI used for?
    4. My friend joined a non-SCGA club; will the SCGA or just Publinks recognize his handicap?
