  • F.A.Q: General Handicap Questions

This section covers several general handicap related questions.

    8. I posted an incorrect score or a duplicate score, what should I do now? - Top

If you posted an incorrect score you must contact your Handicap Chairman and provide him with the correct information. The SCGA is prohibited from taking score corrections from members. The Handicap Chairman will correct the score either through his use of E-Maintenance if it is during the current revision period or by notifying the SCGA in writting.

If you inadvertently posted the same score twice using the same method the Electronic Handicap System is setup to only accept the score once. Duplicate posting would be the same date, score posted, golf course facility, and specific tee. If you posted once at the golf course and then again via NetPost or any other method you would need to have that duplicate posting removed by your Handicap Chairman. Once again, The SCGA is prohibited from taking score corrections from members. - Updated: August 10, 2005
