The USGA now allows members to post via the Internet. The USGA allows this to be a club decision as to weather or not the club will allow their members to use this option. Many clubs have chosen not to allow their members to use the Internet option because it is perceived to be a way for players to manipulate their score file and post erroneous scores. Their goal is not to make posting more inconvenient for you or to make things harder. Posting on the Internet for some clubs is not a good choice if they feel it will be manipulated. Your club has chosen not to allow Internet posting at this time. Their decision may change as time goes on but right now they have chosen not to allow posting via the Internet. If the computer is not available for posting at the time of play, we suggest you leave the scorecards for the Handicap Chairman and allow him/her to post those rounds for you. - Updated: August 10, 2005
