6. All of my scores post as "A" (away), yet I play 75% of my rounds at one course. Does this affect my handicap index? - Top

If you are a member of an Affiliate Golf Club all of your scores should record as away. Affiliate Clubs are clubs without real estate. If you are a member of a golf course facility then those scores played at the course you belong to should appear as "H" or home scores. If scores played at the golf course facility you joined are not appearing as Home scores please contact your club's handicap chairman or any other officer of your club. When calculating an index neither Home or Away is taken into account. Where a round of golf is played has no bearing how that score's differential is calculated. - Updated: August 10, 2005
