To purchase the system through us the cost is $1924. This is a Dell Pentium IV system. It has a 2.8 GHz processor, 120 Gigabyte Hard Drive, 512MB RAM, and meets all hardware requirements that you must have. This system also comes with a 3-year next business day warranty. If you would like to purchase the system through us please contact the SCGA Handicap and Membership Department for a purchase order form. Please fill out the order form and mail it back with a check for the $1924 made out to the SCGA
Should you wish to purchase the system on your own the SCGA currently recommends a Dell Dimension 3000. We recommend that you increase the RAM to 512 and have the new computer come with an internal modem. You will also need a dedicated phone line. Should your club be able to provide a broadband connection the modem would not be necessary and your monthly ISP charge would be reduced to $5. If you purchase the computer on your own, please fill out a checklist provided by the SCGA and send that back to us. Once we receive the checklist we will make an appointment to install your new computer upon its arrival.
