You are allowed to play skin games, but one score for the scramble is to be turned in. The prizes and drawings is where the fun is! So if you do not win, do not worry, there are plenty of chances to win in the raffles. On the day of, report to the IWLA clubhouse before you enter the gates of the GC on the left. $70 includes a Mexican catered food fiesta after play with free beer at the turn (keg). Water and Sodas are available too. If enough players sign up two weeks prior to the date, it will be a shotgun start. All proceeds go to our inter-city kids fishing and scouts programs. A start-studded line-up has been announced for the inaugural "BMW Celebrity Pro-Am" tournament, taking place Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Wilshire Country Club, which will benefit The First Tee of Los Angeles.
Scheduled to appear are stars from TV, Film, Sports, and the PGA and LPGA TOURS. Celebrities include (partial list) Joe Pesci, Ray Romano, Andy Garcia, Cheech Marin, Don Cheadle, Jessica Alba, David Arquette, Joe Montegna, Ron Perlman, Heather Locklear, Kevin Nealon, Kenny Lofton, and Patrick Warburton. Pro's include US Open champion Lucas Glover, TOUR veteran Robert Allenby and LPGA superstar Natalie Gulbis.
"We're excited and honored that such a lofty list of stars will be donating their time and talents to help benefit The First Tee of Los Angeles," said Phil Bough, Executive Director of The First Tee's Los Angeles chapter. The upcoming annual Rosendin Golf Tournament is expected to raise over $200,000 for the Navy Seal Foundation. Over 75 sponsors are supporting more than 300 golfers, and two PGA pros will be on hand to help players perfect their swing before heading out to the links. Top brass including Ret Rear Admiral Kerry Metz and Ret Navy Seal Shane McKenzie will be in attendance, with Rear Admiral Metz giving the keynote address at the event
