Meet Lydia Lee
Development Coordinator, SCGA Junior
Lydia was born and raised in Southern California, graduating from the University of Southern California. She grew up playing tennis and running track, and although she’s never played competitive golf, she finds that hitting balls at the range is one of the more calming things to do. In her free time, she enjoys napping and cuddling up with her 16 year old puppy.
Why do you enjoy working with kids?
“I love working with kids because they are pure and innocent. I think there’s a lot to learn from working with kids; their spontaneity, sense of empathy, and transparency. Plus, kids never fail to make me laugh and smile. I want to be a part of their story and allow them to dream big! The sky’s the limit.”
“Sports has always been near and dear to my heart. As a kid my parents would take me to watch the MLB and NBA games. And as soon as I was old enough, I was playing tennis, softball and soccer. In middle school is where I was introduced to football and when I completely fell in love with it. I still play every weekend and attend two tournaments a year. Some of my favorite moments are when I’m playing sports, it’s where I find true happiness and peace.”
