Meet Luke Scoville

P.J. Boatwright Jr. Intern

Prior to joining the SCGA, Luke worked as a communications intern for Oswego State Athletics executing broad-based communications and marketing campaigns for the school’s various athletic programs. A recent graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego, Luke has experience at two publications in the upstate New York area – as a Sports Intern at The Palladium-Times and at his college’s newspaper, The Oswegonian, where he received the SUNY Oswego Journalism Award as the paper’s sports editor. Luke has also worked as a marketing intern at NDG Student Living, a luxury student housing development and as a contributor to, a New York Yankees blog.

What are you most looking forward to during your P.J. Boatwright Internship?

I am really looking forward to the experience of traveling throughout Southern California to different golf courses and meeting many new people. Not only to learn all the functions of the SCGA, but to also learn more about the history and operations of all these clubs and courses.

Dream Foursome?

You can't go wrong playing with a group like John Daly, Bubba Watson and Derek Jeter. A solid combination of fun, competitiveness and the long ball.
