Meet Jane Na

Asst. Director, Member Services & Office Operations

Jane took over as assistant director of Member Services in February of 2020, and is responsible for administration of all SCGA handicap programs with direct oversight of WHS certification and education for 1,500 member clubs. She prepares and develops official club materials for the SCGA website and manages the monthly digital Club Officials’ Digest, as well as oversee the SCGA multi-member rebate program and monitor delegate membership and billing-related projects.

Jane joined the SCGA in 2016 as a member of the Championships & Golf Operations team, where she managed the SCGA's One-Day Series Program and served on the SCGA’s women’s task force and supervised the evolution and expansion of the FORE Her Series. Prior to the SCGA, Jane served as an assistant coach for the UC Irvine women’s golf team. Prior to coaching, she played professional golf on the Ladies Professional Golf Tour and the Duramed Futures Tour. A 2020 inductee of the UC Irvine Athletic Hall of Fame where she played collegiate golf as a former first team All-American and the 2009 Big West Conference Player of the Year.

Jane was born and raised in Southern California and currently resides in Los Angeles. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Why Golf? What makes you want to work in golf?

I have always enjoyed the game of golf from a very young age and have grown to appreciate it even more as I've gotten older. I enjoy working in the golf industry because it gives me an opportunity to give back to the game that has been so good to me.

What is your favorite Rule of Golf OR what is one Rule of Golf you’d change?

My favorite Rule of Golf is “Rule 23- Loose Impediments.” This is my favorite rule in golf because without any penalty you can move any loose impediments that may be in the way of you hitting a solid shot.
