Meet Hailey Tucker

Manager, Communications and Marketing

Hailey absorbs responsibility of the SCGA Junior Foundation’s marketing initiatives, as well as the communications lead contact for the Foundation. She handles all Foundation collateral, including brochures, program flyers and fundraising materials. Hailey also manages the Foundation’s video program and assists the SCGA with FORE magazine production, SCGA Championship coverage and general content creation.

Prior to the SCGA, Hailey comes with extensive communications experience, most notably as the Sports Editor of University of Southern California’s Daily Trojan newspaper. There, she oversaw the production of the sports section, managing a staff of 30 students while writing, editing and assigning stories. She also has experience with the Los Angeles Kings as a communications associate and with Major League Baseball where she worked with the Compton Youth Academy as a media associate.

You just won the lottery. What are you going to do?

After making sure that my parents have a house that they love, I'm definitely going to take off on some major travels with the hopes of reaching all seven continents! (Hailey's already been to four!)

What makes you want to work in sports?

Sports brings people together like nothing else can. What can compete with the thrill of watching your favorite player score the go-ahead goal or seeing a team you've grown up rooting for finally capturing that elusive championship? As a multi-sport athlete in high school, sports have always been a huge part of my character development and perspective on life. Not to mention, working live events is one of the most amazing job responsibilities.
