Meet Deb Olson
Assistant Director, Member Services & Office Operations
Deb directs the administration of all SCGA handicap programs, specifically overseeing World Handicap System certification, the GHIN platform and member club education.
This includes developing official club materials for the Association’s communication vehicles, conducting WHS certification classes, directing the multi-member rebate program among other billing-related projects, as well as managing various customer support platforms for interaction with the Association’s 175,000 members through its 1,500 member clubs.
Since joining in February, Deb has provided exceptional customer support in all aspects of SCGA membership and club support. She’s played an integral role in counseling club Handicap Chairs on WHS protocols and assisting in the creation of official club materials.
Deb brings a strong project management background and several years of golf administration experience to her new role. Previously, she completed a USGA P.J. Boatwright Jr. Internship for the then-Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts (now Mass Golf). For nearly a decade, she held roles as Business Manager and Member Relations/Communications Manager at Renaissance, a private golf club in Haverhill, Mass.
