Handicap & Membership Overview
The Handicap & Membership department is the backbone of the SCGA. Their responsibilities range from welcoming new member clubs into the association to handling file maintenance issues for handicap chairmen and enforcing and interpreting the Rules of Amateur Status. There are over 1,200 handicap chairmen the department stays in contact with to resolve any issues the club may have. The department develops and maintains the handicap software, E/2, which allows golfers to post their scores at all courses in Southern California and have it recorded to their file. For any questions on your membership please contact the Handicap & Membership department.
