Historic tournament, historic venues: The 97th California Amateur Championship
For the first time in its history, the California Amateur will be played in Southern California at two of the area's most historic courses: Lakeside GC in Burbank and Oakmont CC in Glendale.

Brookside, Red Hill and Mission Hills win Team Play championships; Jeff Wilson migrates south to win the SCGA Mid-Amateur; Jason Bittick and John Adams win their first SCGA Foursomes Championship; and four new faces appear as winners at the SCGA Amateur Net Championship.
