Thursday, July 16
SCGA Foundation Junior Golf Clinic
Time: 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
About: Sixty local junior golfers are selected to participate in the Junior Clinic, and the SCGA invites media and the public to stop by and see juniors learn the fundamentals of golf and important life skills from SCGA staff, Wilshire Country Club professionals and members and fellow SCGA amateur players.
Friday, July 17
Rounds 1 & 2 (36 holes, stroke play)
Time: 7:30 a.m. and noon
About: Eighty-four (84) players will play two rounds of stroke play. Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 42 scores (plus ties). Live scoring will be available online.
Saturday, July 18
Round 3 (18 holes, stroke play)
Time: 7:30 a.m.
About: Live scoring will be available online.
Sunday, July 19
Round 4 (18 holes, stroke play)
Time: 7:30 a.m.
About: Live scoring will be available online. Awards will be presented immediately following the final round.
Spectator information
General Information
Spectators must adhere to the dress code and must walk while on the course. Media and spectators must stay on or near the cart path and on the cart path side of the tee, fairway and greens. At no time are spectators permitted to walk on the teeing ground, in the fairway or on a putting green.
Restrooms
Located at the No. 13 tee and No. 15 tee. See course map below.
Concessions
Spectators may purchase food and beverage items at the Snack Bar. Cash will be accepted at the snack bar only, while MasterCard and Visa credit cards will be accepted in the golf shop only.
Cell Phone Policy
Cell phones are not permitted in the clubhouse or on the course. Please restrict cell phone use to the parking lot only. Turn cell phones off during the stipulated round.
Dress Code
Spectators must adhere to the following dress code:
Men must wear appropriate attire for golf such as golf slacks, approved golf shorts and shirts with collars and sleeves. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Mock turtlenecks and turtlenecks are allowed. Collarless shirts, tank tops, sweat pants, cargo pants or cargo shorts, denim or jeans of any kind are not permitted on the premises. Hats may be worn outside only with the brim/bill facing forward. Flip-flops are not permitted.
For women, shirts must have either collars or sleeves (or both). Skirts, divided skirts, golf dresses and tailored slacks are the acceptable attire to be worn in the clubhouse and on the golf course. Tennis attire, tank tops, drawstring pants, slacks of denim or denim-type fabric, jersey knit fabrics, Levis, jeans and flip-flops are not permitted.
