Pre-tournament checklist
Media credentials: Media members interested in covering the championship should make arrangements with CGA communications staff PRIOR to the event; this will ensure that your parking and communications needs are met at the championship site and that you will receive admittance through the guard gate. Please contact any of the staff below no later than one week prior to the championship with the following information: Name, address, phone number, e-mail, news agency/outlet, title/position, and whether you will be bringing a photography or video camera with you. We will mail out appropriate credentials when requests are received and approved.
IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DECIDE TO ATTEND THE CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER IT HAS STARTED, please contact Bob Thomas or Katie Denbo below by e-mail or cell phone for arrangements.
Gathering information: the following will be available before, during and after the championship. Please let us know of any additional media needs that arise.
| Scores |
6/21/08: Final Match Play Bracket
Following each round, a download-ready Excel file formatted for box scores will be available with individual players, city of residence, and scores. This file will also be available in Word format. Please monitor the tournament's live scoring during CGA Week; this will help us expedite any requests for leader or player information at the conclusion of the rounds. A link for live scoring will be available the week before the championship. |
| Stories and Releases |
Ready-for-print stories, press releases and other materials will be posted on the Stories & Photos page. Pre-tournament stories will be posted in the weeks before the championship, while stories, stats and facts about individual rounds and players will be posted within 90 minutes following the conclusion of the round.
Complete history and details of last year's championship are available on the 2007 site HERE. |
