About the players
One hundred fifty-six (156) players, evenly divided between northern and southern California, will participate in up to six rounds of stroke and match play. Stoke play will commence at both Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank and Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, while match play will take place at Lakeside. A true test until the end when a new (or returning) California State champion is crowned. In the midst is the historic Northern-Southern team matches, where the best five of six scores from select SCGA and NCGA players are used to determine the winner.
